Sayed Abdelhafiz, Al Ahly's director of football, believes that the fatigue that comes with the condensed schedule of games affected the team deeply against Ghazl El Mahalla SC. 

Abdelhafiz added that the players need to focus on the upcoming challenges as the team has two important games in the league against Al Ittihad Alexandria Club and Zamalek SC. 

"El Mahalla played with a very good spirit. We were not good enough in the first half and we lost most of the duels. I believe that this is normal especially with our overwhelmed schedule." 

"We have to deal with the situation. We have two important games ahead of us and we have to be fully focused on them." 

"We need to improve our performance in the next two games, it doesn’t matter what you are going through. I believe that we need to improve our performance in these two games specifically."

Abdelhafiz concluded by critiquing the referees’ performances in the league, adding that some of their decisions don’t provide equal opportunities to all the participating teams.
